Patty Jarvis is a Personal Property Appraiser with decades of experience in the fine and decorative arts market. Before founding Hunt Country Estate & Appraisal Services, Patty held executive leadership roles in the art auction industry, including Senior Vice President and General Manager at Butterfield & Butterfield (now known as Bonhams) in San Francisco. Patty’s deep expertise is rooted in both hands-on experience and academic training. She holds a Master of Arts in Decorative Arts & Design History from the Smithsonian Associates and the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Scripps College. While pursuing her Master’s degree, she served as a curatorial intern at Blair House, the President’s Guest House in Washington, D.C., and the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia.
